The COVID-19 recession has presented numerous challenges to every country including Nepal, making it difficult for industries to survive and strive.<\/p>\n
Although Nepal has announced measures to ensure essential business activities, it has become challenging for most businesses to keep turning their financial wheels due to nationwide lockdown.<\/p>\n
With no respite in sight, the Nepali Irrigation Minister Barshaman Pun has urged the industrialists and businessmen to resume operations while adopting COVID-19<\/a> prevention measures.<\/p>\n During a virtual meeting by the Confederation of Nepalese Industries (CNI), the minister said that the Nepali Government had made sufficient arrangements to revive the industrial sector amid the ongoing crisis.<\/p>\n \u201cNobody knows how long the pandemic will last and we have to be used to seek livelihood amidst the crisis,\u201d said Barshaman.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n <\/p>\n The government is set to promote the resumption of industries, begin stalled development projects and transport raw materials necessary for industries.<\/p>\n
