As per the coronavirus situation in the country, it seems that Nepal is following the traces of other countries.

Surprisingly, the country has reported over 150 coronavirus cases in just two weeks.

Today, the Nepali Government has reported nine new COVID-19 cases, taking the total number of coronavirus cases in the country to 258.

Among the 9 patients, one is from Makwanpur while the rest are from Banke.

So far, the government has conducted 22,664 tests through the PCR method and 62,327 tests through the RDT method.

Meanwhile, a Crisis Management Committee meeting chaired by Chief District Officer of Parsa Bishnu Kumar Karki has decided to open fire on COVID-19 patients if they try to escape from the isolation wards.

The local authority took this decision after two patients escaped from the isolation ward of Narayani Zonal Hospital on May 14, 2020.
