Even though the number of coronavirus cases in Nepal is almost negligible, the pandemic has not ceased to inflict socio-economic implications on the country.<\/p>\n
According to the Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS), the GDP growth of Bagmati Province, the largest contributor to the Nepali economy, will plunge to 1.23% in the current FY 2019-20.<\/p>\n
The CBS has made the projections based on the economic activities in the first eight months of the current FY and the possible impact of COVID-19 for the rest of the fiscal.<\/p>\n
