While the Nepali Government is scrambling to implement best strategies to combat COVID-19, the organizations, companies and individuals are demonstrating their commitment in the need of the hour.<\/p>\n
Lately, the Nepal Insurance Board has ordered all the non-insurance companies to provide \u2018COVID-19 Insurance Scheme<\/strong>\u2019 in view of the growing threat of coronavirus pandemic.<\/p>\n According to the Committee’s Executive Director Raju Raman Poudel, the insurance scheme is initiated to cover the low-income people affected by COVID-19 pandemic.<\/p>\n The Committee has classified the \u2018COVID-19 Insurance Scheme\u2019 into two categories, namely \u2018A\u2019 and \u2018B\u2019.<\/p>\n[MUST READ:<\/strong>\u00a0Nepal Launches ‘COVID-19 Website and Mobile App’]<\/a><\/p>\n Insurance Fee<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n Insurance Amount<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/td>\n Insurance Fee<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n <\/p>\n So far, the Nepali Government has reported 16 coronavirus infection cases. Currently, 14 patients are undergoing treatment while 2 have already recovered and discharged.
