The Nepali Government has been striving to chalk out best strategies to fight coronavirus and it has left no stone unturned to ensure the wellbeing of its citizens.<\/p>\n
However, there is a regular rise in coronavirus infection cases in the country since the last week.<\/p>\n
Lately, the Nepali Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) has confirmed two new coronavirus positive cases on April 13, 2020.<\/p>\n
According to Dr. Bikash Devkota, MoHP Spokesperson, a 65-year old woman of Kailali and a 19-year old man of Rautahat have tested positive for COVID-19.<\/p>\n
With this, the total number of coronavirus infection cases in Nepal reached 14. However, the first patient has already recovered and discharged.<\/p>\n

So far, the Nepali Government has tested 10982 samples, 5691 through Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) and 5291 through Rapid Diagnostic Kit.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
As of now, 7166 people are in quarantine throughout the country and 103 in isolation ward.<\/p>\n
Meanwhile, the Nepali Government is planning to extend the ongoing lockdown by at least one week in response to the recommendations by the COVID-19 Crisis Management Committee.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
The nation is in lockdown since March 24, 2020 and the ongoing lockdown is going to expire on April 15, 2020.<\/p>\n
So far, coronavirus has spread across every country in the world and infected 1,930,353 people while claiming 119,985 lives. However, 447,948 patients have already recovered.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
