With no other haven at disposal to stave off coronavirus threat, the Nepali Government has extended the current nationwide lockdown by another eight days until April 15, 2020.<\/p>\n
Earlier, the \u2018COVID-19 High-Level Coordination Committee\u2019 has recommended the government to extend the lockdown as country entered the second phase of the coronavirus outbreak.<\/p>\n
Nepal reported the first case of locally transmitted coronavirus infection on April 3, 2020.<\/p>\n
This is the second time that the Nepali Government has extended the lockdown.
