Nepal\u2019s year-on-year (y-o-y) consumer price inflation has increased to 6.82% in the first six months of the current FY 2019-20.<\/p>\n
The increase in inflation is primarily attributed to the rise in prices of the consumable goods in the country.<\/p>\n
According to the Macroeconomic and Financial Situation Report released by Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB), the inflation reached 6.82% in mid-January 2020 against 4.58% last fiscal.<\/p>\n

\n<\/strong>The significant rise in prices of vegetables, spices, pulses, legumes and fruits in the review month has led to the rise in food and beverage inflation.<\/p>\n
