The Nepali government is all set to evacuate 180 Nepalis in Hubei Province, the epicenter of coronavirus (named as COVID-19) outbreak, on February 15, 2020.<\/p>\n
Nepal Airlines\u2019 wide-body aircraft will leave for Wuhan, China at 2:45 pm on February 15, 2020.<\/p>\n
Nine crew members including three pilots and four health workers will be on board the aircraft.<\/p>\n
According to the Nepali Embassy in Beijing, the Nepali students at three universities in Wuhan will be brought to the airport via three buses.<\/p>\n
The A-330 aircraft will airlift 180 evacuees from Wuhan Airport and is scheduled to land at Tribhuvan International Airport, Nepal at 2:15 am on February 16, 2020.<\/p>\n
The Nepali evacuees from China will undergo health screening at the airport for Covid-19 upon their arrival.<\/p>\n
The evacuees with coronavirus symptoms will be sent to Teku-based Shukraj Tropical and Infectious Disease Hospital for treatment. The remaining will be isolated at the training center of Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) for 14 days.<\/p>\n
The Nepali Government has arranged 199 beds to isolate the evacuees.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
Earlier on February 2, 2020, around 180 Nepalis in Hubei Province have submitted applications<\/a> to the Nepali Embassy in Beijing requesting evacuation from China.<\/p>\n
