Khagendra Thapa Magar<\/strong>, Guinness World Records (GWR) holder for world\u2019s shortest mobile man, died of Pneumonia at Manipal hospital in Nepal on January 17, 2020.<\/p>\n He was admitted to the hospital on January 16, 2020 for heart problems, asthma and pneumonia.<\/p>\n Magar, who measured 67.08cm (2 feet and 2.41 inches), has won the title of world\u2019s shortest mobile man from Colombian Edward Hernandez in 2010 on his 18th birthday.<\/p>\n However, he lost the record to fellow Nepali Chandra Bahadur Dangi, who stood at 54.6cm (1 foot and 9.5 inches), in February 2012.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n But he reclaimed the record after Chandra\u2019s death in 2015.<\/p>\n After gaining acknowledgment by GWR, Magar toured around the world and appeared in many television shows across Europe and the United States.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n He was also appointed as Goodwill Ambassador for Nepal Tourism.<\/p>\n Khagendra, the eldest son of Roop Bahadur and Dhan Maya, was born on 14 October 1992 in Baglung district of Nepal.<\/p>\n Craig Glenday, Guinness World Records Editor-in-Chief, expressed his condolences on hearing the news of Magar’s death.<\/p>\n With khagendra\u2019s death, the title for shortest living mobile man is once again retained by Edward Hernandez with 70.21cm height.<\/p>\n Related Articles:-<\/strong><\/p>\n
