Nepal Film and Cultural Academy is all set to organize the 3rd<\/sup> Nepal International Film Festival (NIFF)<\/strong> in Kathmandu from February 13 \u2013 17, 2020.<\/p>\n
A total of 79 films selected out of 600 films from various 55 countries will be screened in the film festival.<\/p>\n
The films include:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Short films – 35<\/li>\n
Nepali films \u2013 5<\/li>\n
Short Nepali films – 15<\/li>\n
Documentaries – 8<\/li>\n
Animated films \u2013 6<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

The main highlight of the festival will be the announcement of awards for various film categories. It includes:<\/p>\n

Best Feature-Length Film – Gautama Buddha Award: Trophy, Cash Prize of USD 1500<\/li>\n
Best Short-Length Film – Bagmati Award: Trophy, Cash Prize of USD 500<\/li>\n

DOCUMENTARY SEGMENT<\/strong><\/p>\n

Best Documentary Film – Mt. Everest Award: Trophy, Cash Prize of USD 1000<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

Best Animated Film – Manjushree Award: Trophy, Cash Prize of USD 750<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

Best Short-Length Film: Trophy, Cash Prize of NPR 40,000<\/li>\n

Apart from film screenings and award presentations, various workshops, seminars, interactions and a sightseeing tour for the foreign delegates will be organized during the event.<\/p>\n
Nepal International Film Festival (NIFF) was founded in 2018 with an aim to celebrate various types of storytelling and narratives from all over the world.<\/p>\n
