Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli was admitted to the Grande International Hospital in Dhapasi on October 30, 2019.<\/p>\n
According to a press statement, the Prime Minister\u2019s private doctor Dibya Singh Shah and hospital administration said that Oli was taken to the hospital for a regular checkup and that his health was normal.<\/p>\n
However, the doctors at the hospital have said that Oli\u2019s condition is not normal and may require a kidney transplant. His blood has a high creatinine level which is harmful to his kidney. The Prime Minister was treated to dialysis for the same and doctors are constantly monitoring if the dialysis is functioning.<\/p>\n

\u201cIn case it fails to function effectively in the course of time,\u00a0 Oli is recommended to undergo kidney transplantation,\u201d said a source at the hospital.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
Therefore, preparations for a kidney transplantation are underway for the second time. A donor has also been arranged for the transplantation.<\/p>\n
