<\/p>\nNepal witnessed the endorsement of two landmark bills on September 19, 2019.<\/p>\n
The National Assembly meeting on Tuesday passed the Land Bill \u2013 2076 BS. This is the eighth amendment to the bill.<\/p>\n
Land Reforms, Cooperatives and Poverty Alleviation Minister Padma Kumari Aryal tabled the bill in the Assembly.<\/p>\n
Responding to queries on the bill, Minister Aryal said that the bill aims to resolve the problems faced by the landless and address unorganized settlement across the country.<\/p>\n

Likewise, the same meeting also paved way for the passing of the National Identity Card and Registration Bill \u2013 2075 BS<\/em>.<\/em><\/p>\n The given bill was presented by Home Minister Ram Bahadur Thapa for endorsement on Tuesday.<\/p>\n The Minister had presented a proposal for consideration on clause-wise deliberation over the bill, received from the House of Representatives, which was accepted unanimously.<\/p>\n Speaking about the bill to lawmakers, Thapa said that the bill was presented after broader discussions and consultations were held.<\/p>\n He shared that this session of the bill would adopt some points included in the amendment proposal.
