The results of Korean Language Test (KLT) under Employment System (EPS) are announced. 12,015 applicants passed, out of the total 84,215 individuals who wrote the exam.<\/p>\n
This number exceeds the quota of 10,050 Nepali migrant workers set by the Korean Government.<\/p>\n
The Korean Government will employ 7,050 Nepali workers under the manufacturing sector and 3,000 under the agricultural sector.<\/p>\n
Individuals are required to score at least 38 marks for the manufacturing sector and 37 marks for the agricultural sector.<\/p>\n
The Korean Language Test was held in the second week of June 2019 in Kathmandu and Pokhara. Overall, 92,356 applicants between 18-39 years applied for Korean jobs.<\/p>\n
According to EPS Korea section, 82,335 people appeared for the Korean Language Test 2018. Nepal has been sending workers to the South Korean labor market under EPS since 2008.<\/p>\n
