June 30, 2017<\/strong><\/p>\n Soon after Krishna Bahadur Mahara taking charge as Nepal\u2019s deputy prime minister (DPM)\u2009and foreign affairs minister, his Indian counterpart Sushma Swaraj had congratulated Mahara and invited him to New Delhi.<\/p>\n In the first high-level engagement with the Indian leadership, Mahara will embark on a three-day visit to New Delhi from Sunday. He will lay the ground for the visit of Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba to India possibly in July-end. Deuba has agreed to visit India, after assuming office, after Prime Minister Narendra Modi congratulated and invited him. During the visit, dates and probable agendas of the PM\u2019s visit will be finalized.<\/p>\n Aside from reviewing the projects funded by India, Mahara will apprise about the latest political developments and will lay ground for the visit of PM Deuba.
