June 30, 2017<\/strong><\/p>\n The Non-Residential Nepali Association (NRNA) together with the Nepal Tourism Board and other authorities launched a cleaning campaign \u201cAtithi Devo Bhawa\u201d at the Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA). It is a month-long campaign aimed at transforming the TIA as clean and well-managed as other international airports and make the experience of tourists pleasant.<\/p>\n Khem\u2019s Cleaning Services, a cleaning company based in Australia, is training the workers.<\/p>\n Along with the training and cleaning campaign, technologies will be updated to ensure that facilities at the TIA meet the international standards, according to an in-charge of the airport\u2019s cleaning division.<\/p>\n The TIA, Nepal\u2019s only international airport, has been facing criticism for poor sanitation and maintenance.<\/p>\n Sanjiv Gautam, director general of the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal, promised to keep the TIA neat and tidy.<\/p>\n The organizers said that the campaign\u2019s duration could be extended if the expected results are not achieved.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" June 30, 2017 The Non-Residential Nepali Association (NRNA) together with the Nepal Tourism Board and other…<\/span><\/p>\n
