Nepathya is a leading Nepalese rock band best known for its fusion music, with a blend of traditional folk and modern rock music. This year marks the silver jubilee of the band. Nepathya was formed in the nineties by three students from Pokhara; Deepak Rana, Bhim Poon and Amrit Gurung, and has over the years provided a platform to many talented musicians.<\/p>\n
The band has released nine albums to date and has performed live in many countries across the world including the UK, the USA, Australia, Israel, Germany, Finland and India. After the success of their tour to Australia a few years ago, they are all set to perform once again in the country later this month in a series of concerts. Gurung, the lead performer and driving force behind the team, says that they carry a message of love to all the Nepalis living away from their homeland.<\/p>\n
As part of Nepathya\u2019s silver jubilee celebrations<\/strong> that are scheduled until April 1, 2018, several activities including the release of new songs and videos of some old songs have been planned.
