In a move extending job opportunities to unemployed locals, the Nepal Government has announced a special 30-day employment program.<\/p>\n
The program is expected to cover around 106, 872 unemployed Nepalis waiting for job opportunities across the local units.<\/p>\n
The government has allotted a total of NPR 2.36 billion budget for this program.<\/p>\n
In this regard, each local government body has already received a minimum NPR 500,000-10 million for job creation to all the unemployed locals.<\/p>\n

Now, the target for the local units is to ensure jobs for 106,872 unemployed for 30 days in the next two months period.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
This decision comes in line with the government\u2019s \u2018minimum employment program\u2019, which it has planned to include in the ongoing policies and programs, and the FY 2019-20 Budget.<\/p>\n
8,000 Vacancies for PSC<\/h3>\n

The Nepal Government is working extensively to create more and more job opportunities for its unemployed population.<\/p>\n
Adding to the government\u2019s efforts of conducting a series of targeted programs, the Public Service Commission (PSC) is preparing to announce vacancies for 8,000 posts in the first phase on May 29, 2019.<\/p>\n
Vacancies for the posts will be announced in the fourth, fifth, sixth and ninth positions in both technical and non-technical categories.<\/p>\n
The commission\u2019s move comes in response to the uncertainty related to the recruitment of government staffers.<\/p>\n
Meanwhile, the government is also coming up with a\u00a0special youth program<\/a>\u00a0worth NPR 1 Bn for the coming fiscal year.<\/p>\n
Hope the efforts of this kind will start addressing the gaps in the employment sector of Nepal.<\/p>\n
