Nepal\u2019s oldest educational institution Tribhuvan University (TU) has bagged another reputation!<\/p>\n
In its latest global university rankings, the Times Higher Education of London placed TU among the best universities in the Asian region.<\/p>\n
TU stood at the 251st<\/sup> position out of 300 best universities<\/strong> in Asia University Ranking 2019, while that was 801th<\/sup> out of 1000 top global universities as per the World University Ranking 2019.<\/p>\n For its 60 constituent campuses, 1,084 affiliated colleges, 2,079 UG and 2,000 PG programs across its main campus and affiliated institutions in Nepal, the university emerged as the \u201811th<\/sup> largest university for\u00a0<\/strong>enrollment<\/b>\u2019 in the world.<\/p>\n TU is a government-funded institution with many private institutions working as its affiliates across the nation.<\/p>\n The university, with its wide range of courses at all levels of education, also stands affordable than any other institution for higher-level education in the country.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n The varsity had also made it to the similar rankings among the top 800-1000 universities of the world<\/a>, in September 2018, in different categories including teaching, research, citation influence, international outlook and industrial income.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n In all the mentioned categories, TU ranked 30 percent in the first three groups and 5.7 percent in international outlook and 2.5 in industrial outcome criteria.<\/p>\n
