Exactly a day after signing double taxation agreement with Bangladesh<\/a>, here comes another bilateral deal for Nepal!<\/p>\n A parliamentarian delegation from Bundestag (the German House of Representatives) was on a Germany, in its latest press release, said the visit has strengthened the Nepal-Germany parliamentary ties further, adding to their 60-year-long bilateral relationship.<\/p>\n \u201cWe discussed with the international affairs committee of the Nepali government<\/a> to work towards further cooperation and to organize regular exchanges. We would like to extend to them an invitation to visit Germany\u201d, said Tobias Pfl\u00fcger<\/span>, who headed the German delegation.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n According to the release, the German team discussed on a wide range of topics including Nepal\u2019s peace process, economic transformation, women empowerment, human rights, education and German-Nepal development cooperation, among others.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n The two sides also discussed about the Nepal Investment Summit 2019 to happen in Kathmandu<\/a> during March 29-30, 2019.<\/p>\n The delegation also made a two-day visit to Province 5 (Bhairahawa, Butwal, Lumbini); Lumbini<\/a> Peace Park in Kapilvastu and Gautam Buddha International Airport construction site, among others.<\/p>\n They also held discussions with Province 5 Chief Minister Shankar Pokharel and private sector players on regional economic development.<\/p>\n The delegation also extended Germany\u2019s possible support to technical and vocational training in Nepal.<\/p>\n Besides official meets, the delegation shared their experiences with Nepali civil society representatives.<\/p>\n Stay tuned for more such interesting Nepali news updates<\/a>!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Exactly a day after signing double taxation agreement with Bangladesh, here comes another bilateral deal for…<\/span><\/p>\n
