Prime Minister KP Oli returned to Nepal after attending 49th World Economic Forum (WEF) in Switzerland<\/p><\/div>\n
During his participation at the full session of WEF and his engagement in two separate discussions on the theme \u2013 Strategic Outlook on South Asia and Determining the Future of Democracy, <\/em>Oli shared Nepal\u2019s outlook on:<\/p>\n\nEntrepreneurship development<\/li>\n Nepal\u2019s progress towards building an equitable society by bridging the rich and poor<\/li>\n Protection of Democracy & Press Freedom<\/li>\n Expanding of connectivity for economic progress and promotion of regionalism<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\u201cI expressed opinion on consolidation of democracy, ensuring the people\u2019s rights on political, economic and social sectors, protection and respect to the sovereign people, and on the inevitability of the press and its responsibility,\u201d Oli<\/span> said.<\/p><\/blockquote>\nExpanding his stance on Protection of Democracy & Press Freedom, <\/em>Oli said that he also spoke about issues regarding other people\u2019s rights in a democracy, the responsibility of the press to refrain from publishing wrong information to individuals, families and society and various aspects of press freedom enjoyed by Nepali press.<\/p>\nPM Oli added that he held informal interactions with heads of states and governments of various countries, economic experts, CEOs of multinational companies and other eminent at the 49th<\/sup> WEF.<\/p>\nIn all these meetings, Oli emphasized the government\u2019s role in materializing Nepal\u2019s goal of \u2018Prosperous Nepal, Happy Nepali\u2019.<\/p>\n
Before his arrival in Nepal, the Nepali Prime Minister also visited Doha, where he was welcomed by Nepal Ambassador to Qatar Dr. Ramesh Prasad Koirala.<\/p>\n
