Nepal Sports Council (NSC) announced that Nepal national cricket team will now get their remuneration for the past two years!<\/p>\n
Since the International Cricket Council dissolved Nepal\u2019s Cricket body \u2018Cricket Association of Nepal<\/a>\u2019 (CAN) in 2016, Nepal players have not been regularly receiving their salaries.<\/p>\n However, after NSC\u2019s requests, the international cricket authority agreed to release the payments, said NSC Member Secretary Keshav Kumar Bista.<\/p>\n According to Bista, ICC has decided to release payments for 2018 and 2019 based on the categorization of players.<\/p>\n \u201cWe have signed contracts with the players and sent the documents to the ICC. The players included in the categorization will receive their pay within next few weeks,\u201d Bista informed.<\/p>\n Players will receive the following remuneration based on their grades per month:<\/strong><\/p>\n Background<\/strong><\/p>\n Back in 2016, ICC had suspended CAN over the political interference in Nepal\u2019s cricket<\/a> administration.
