Recently, Nepal made headlines for reaching a target of welcoming 1 Million Tourists<\/a>.<\/p>\n But not many know that Nepal\u2019s Bandipur<\/a> alone drew 150,000 tourists<\/strong> to the country within one year, contributing to Nepal\u2019s overall arrivals in 2018!<\/p>\n The Tourism Development Committee Chairperson Baisha Bahadur Gurung informed that Bandipur received 150,000 tourists between January \u2013 December 2018.<\/p>\n \u201cRoughly 80 percent of the visitors are domestic,\u201d said Bahadur, while adding that the hilltop settlement received higher number of international tourists from the United States, Thailand, India, China, and Korea.<\/p>\n The Minister shares that there was a high inflow of domestic tourist to Bandipur throughout the English New Year 2019.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Bahadur also observes that Nepalis have started moving around domestic places, promoting domestic tourism.<\/p>\n Bandipur witnesses a huge tourist flow in winter season with nearly 300 visitors per day.
