Taking a step forward in the proper implementation of Federalism in Nepal, Minister for Federal Affairs and General Administration Lal Babu Pandit traveled to Delhi to gain insight on managing civil servants in a federal structure.<\/p>\n
In a Federal Administration workshop held on December 19, 2018, Indian administrative services experts shared their knowledge on the structure adopted by India with the Nepali delegation led by Pandit.<\/p>\n
Nepal Administration Improvement Division Joint Secretary Bhupal Baral and Local Level Capacity Development Chief Joint Secretary Suresh Adhikari were part of the delegation.<\/p>\n
Prior to the workshop, Minister Pandit also met with Indian Minister of State for Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions Minister Jitendra Singh on December 18, 2018.<\/p>\n

As part of the visit, Minister Pandit also met Chairman of Union Public Service Commission Arvind Saxena on December 17, 2018, who talked about the Indian system for recruitment, transfer and promotion in its federal administration.<\/p>\n
