In an exciting update for all Nepal football fans, the Nepal Women\u2019s U18 Football Team set out to Bhutan on September 27, 2018 for the upcoming SAFF U18 Women’s Championship 2018.<\/p>\n
The U18 team is accompanied by their Chief Coach Hari Om Shrestha, Assistant Coach Prakash Baidya and Goal Keeper Coach Asmita Khawas.<\/p>\n
This Championship will see Nepal in Group \u2018B\u2019 alongside Bangladesh and Pakistan. Initially, the Nepali players will play against their group-mates before playing their Group \u2018A\u2019 opponents India, Maldives and Bhutan.<\/p>\n
All the members and athletes of All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) held a program in honor of the players who are going to participate in the championships between September 28 – October 14, 2018.<\/p>\n
ANFA Acting President Bir Bahadur Khadka, Vice President Pankaj Bikram Nembang, Women Committee President Bindra Dewan and Taekwondo player Sangina Baidhya graced the program.<\/p>\n
Despite a remarkable feat at the SAFF Championship 2018<\/a>, Nepal Men\u2019s Football team wasn\u2019t successful in bringing home the Champions Trophy.
