Even after three months of the outbreak, the coronavirus has not yet ceased to inflict health crisis on the global countries.
Day by day, the coronavirus situation is becoming even worse and the global health care system is on the brink of a breakdown.
So far, the coronavirus has disrupted 210 countries and territories and infected 2,656,627 people while claiming 185,166 lives.
Currently, a total of 1,741,587 patients are undergoing treatment at various hospitals across the world. Among them, 1,683,635 patients are in mild condition and 57,952 are in critical condition.
However, 740,463 patients have already recovered and discharged.
The US continues to be the hotspot for coronavirus pandemic with the highest number of infections and death cases in the world.
As of today, the US has reported 849,092 coronavirus infection cases and 47,684 death cases. New York is the worst-hit state with coronavirus cases more than that of many countries.
The New York Government reported 263,292 coronavirus positive cases and 20,354 death cases.
Surprisingly, China, the epicentre of the coronavirus outbreak, has not only flattened the curve but also contained the virus with no significant fresh infections.
Since the last two weeks, China has reported a minuscule number of new infections with nearly zero death cases.
Spain, Italy, France, Germany and the UK are some other countries most affected by the coronavirus pandemic.
So far, Nepal has reported only 45 coronavirus infection cases. However, 7 patients have already recovered and discharged.
