A senior official from a leading Airlines said that travellers are very cost-conscious and they plan their trip to exotic destinations based on their budget. And this is the reason airline companies are getting a lot of flight ticket booking for Kathmandu in Nepal, Goa and Kochi in India. One of the main advantages in these places is the monsoon season, which helps travellers to beat the heat and enjoy Eid holidays.

This Eid, Georgia and Armenia in Eastern Europe are also attracting people because of the easy visa procedures.

Travel agents said that they see a change in the customer’s preferences. Popular destinations like Switzerland, Paris, London, Bangkok, Singapore, and Malaysia still stay attractive. But, along with these, bookings for places like Georgia, Azerbaijan, Armenia, and Romania have seen excellent growth.

Travel agents said that people prefer to see something new every time and search for places where visas are available on arrival or processing time is faster.
