SAFF U-15 Championship 2019 – Nepal Defeats Sri Lanka by 2-0

The Nepal U-15 team defeated Sri Lanka 2-0 in their second SAFF U-15 Men’s Championship 2019 on August 23, 2019.

Both the participating teams failed to register any goals in the first half of their match. Then came Shashank Bohora’s lightning shot in the 46^th minute of the game. After another long chase, Nepal registered its second goal with Ashim Rai in the 83^rd minute.

Nepal which had lost their maiden SAFF U-15 2019 match against India 5-0 on August 21, 2019, quickly recovered from their loss to put up a good show in their second game.

The Nepal U-15 team will now face Bangladesh in its next match on August 26, 2019.
