The father-son duo of Gyanendra Nakarmi and Rojin Nakarmi have done Nepal proud yet again.

Gyanendra, the gold medal winner at the championship in 2014, bagged the silver medal in the Masters category. Rojin claimed the bronze medal in the sub-junior (Under 19) category.

Nepal has enjoyed success in the earlier editions of the championship as well. While Buddhi Jung Karki won the silver in 2014, Gyan Naraan Maharjan and Dinesh Shrestha won the bronze medals in 2015 and 2005 respectively.
