Nepal has finalized its team players for the ACC U-19 Asia Cup scheduled to take place in Sri Lanka between September 05-14, 2019.
The 15-member team led by Rohit Kumar Paudel includes Bhim Sarki, Hari Bahadur Chauhan, Kamal Singh Airee, Khadak Bohara, Kishal Malla, Lokesh Bam, Mohammad Asif Sheikh, Paban Sarff, Pratish GC, Rashid Khan, Rit Gautam, Sagar Dhakal, Sandip Jora and Sagar Dhakal.
According to the Asian Cricket Council’s match schedule, Nepal will play alongside Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and United Arab Emirates (UAE) in Group B of the tournament.
On the other hand, Afghanistan, India, Kuwait and Pakistan are in Group B of the ACC U-19 Asia Cup.
Nepal will play its first match with Sri Lanka on September 06, 2019 and the following group-round matches with Bangladesh on September 08, 2019 and UAE on September 10, 2019.
Nepal qualified for the ACC U-19 Asia Cup by winning the ACC U-19 Eastern Region tournament held in Malaysia on May 2019, where Nepal beat Hong Kong by six wickets.
