AFC U19 Qualifiers: Nepal U19 Women’s Team Secures ‘Group B’ Spot

Nepal U19 Women Football team returned home successfully on October 29, 2018 after a resounding performance at the AFC U19 Group B tournament.

After a winning 2-0 performance against Indian team, Nepali team fought out Pakistan for 9-0 in the last match of the AFC U-19 Women’s Championship qualifiers held at Chonburi Stadium in Thailand on October 28, 2018.

Despite a disappointing start against Thailand, Nepal took success path after beating India in its second match, followed by successive win against Pakistan.

As of October 28, 2018, Nepal and India had three points each after two equal matches and the tournament host Thailand was at the top with six points.

After victory against Pakistan, Nepal garnered six points and is now in Group ‘B’ alongside host Thailand, India and Pakistan.
