Nepal defeated Bhutan 6-0 at the Kalyani Stadium in West Bengal, registering the third consecutive win in the ongoing matches of the SAFF 2019 Championship.
Nepal U15 Men’s team captain Pradeep Lamshal scored two goals for his team, which was followed by singles from Ashim Rai, Krish Sapkota, Niranjan Khatri and Sugam Jimmi.
With the victory over Bhutan, Nepal has climbed higher on the points table with a total of 9 points. On the other hand, Bhutan has been ousted from the championship.
Nepal’s fate now depends on the match between Bangladesh and India. If Bangladesh manages to defeat India by a big winning margin, then Nepal will not make its way to the final.
