#2019CricketWorldCup – Schedule, Teams, Rewards & More!

The ultimate showdown of world cricket is here and we are more than excited!

The 12th ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 begins on May 30, 2019, and will continue until July 14, 2019. The large-scale event is being organized by England and Wales.

Ten teams will compete against each other to catch a spot in the top four for the semifinals, which will be held on July 09 and 11, 2019.

2019 World Cup Cricket Format – All You Need to Know

The #2019WorldCup will take place in the round-robin format, which was last used for the cricket world cup in 1992.

ICC will be allocating total prize money of USD 10 million for the participating teams. The 2019 ICC World Cup winners will get USD 4 million and runners-up will get a sum of USD 2 million.

The third and fourth runners-up will get USD 800,000 each, while teams failing to qualify for the semis will receive USD 100,000 each. Last but not least, the winner of each league’s stage match will get USD 45,000 each.
