Nepal Announces 47,000 Jobs to Conduct National Population Census 2021!

In a bid to conduct the 2021 National Population and Housing Census, the Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS) has announced around 47,000 job openings for the positions of enumerators and supervisors.

The CBS has decided to recruit 39,000 enumerators and 8,000 supervisors on a contract basis to conduct the 12^th national census from June 8 to 22, 2021.

The upcoming census with the theme ‘My census, my participation’ is set to be the first national census after Nepal became a federal democratic republican state.

“This census is going to be crucial for the three-tier government under the federal system to design plans and programs and it will incorporate personal features,” said Dhundiraj Lamichhane, CBS Director.

Instructions:

• Application deadline: March 24, 2021
• Qualification: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (Supervisor); 10+2 graduate (Enumerator)
• Age limit: Above 18 and below 40 (45 in case of females)

The supervisors will be hired on contract for a couple of months while the enumerators for a month.
