Nepal’s Karnali Province has declared 101 tourist destinations as part of its tourism promotion initiatives.
The Karnali State Ministry for Industry, Tourism, Forest and Environment declared 79 destinations, while the Federal Government declared 17 tourists as part of the ambitious project.
The government shortlisted the destinations based on the recommendations from State Assembly members related to the initiative and local levels.
Karnali State Industry, Tourism, Forest and Environment Minister Nanda Singh Buda said that a budget has already been allotted for infrastructure development in 38 tourist destinations out of the 101 destinations in FY 2019-20.
