One of the most prestigious universities in the world, Harvard University is ready to collaborate with Nepal’s government bodies for policy making by proceeding the initiatives in the maximum use of statistics and verification instrument.
In a seminar organized in the US, Dr. Shanker Sharma, former Nepali Ambassador to the United States, said that the University had been launching policy making programmes on the evidence-based statistics in South
Asia and will take the initiative in the use of investigative data on Nepal’s sustainable development. Sharma has reminded that in the past such programmes were launched in India, Pakistan and Bangladesh, which brought forth an exchange of experience from them. And he also informed the University about the country’s condition.
Sharma also said that the development will happen based on statistics and will contribute towards the sustainable development in Nepal, where political instability continues to bring about government change very quickly.
