The coronavirus pandemic seems to be unexhausted even after claiming a quarter of a million lives globally.
In the past 24 hours, there were 61,923 new infection cases and 3,062 new death cases due to coronavirus.
So far, the coronavirus has disrupted 210 countries and territories and infected 3,662,252 people claiming 252,746 lives.
Currently, a total of 2,204,054 patients are undergoing treatment at various hospitals across the world. Among them, 2,154,401 patients are in mild condition and 49,653 are in critical condition. However, 1,205,452 patients have already recovered and discharged.
The contagion has inflicted severe damage to the global economy, especially in American and European countries.
The US is reeling under the unprecedented impact of the coronavirus crisis with the highest number of infections and deaths.
As of today, the US has reported 1,212,955 coronavirus positive cases and 69,925 death cases. New York, the epicenter of coronavirus outbreak in the US, is the worst-affected state with coronavirus infection cases more than any country.
New York has reported 327,374 coronavirus positive cases and 24,944 death cases.
In contrast, China, the epicenter of the coronavirus outbreak, has reported only six new coronavirus cases in the last three days. Currently, there are only 395 active cases.
Spain, Italy, UK, France, and Germany are some other countries most affected by the coronavirus pandemic.
So far, Nepal has reported only 82 coronavirus infection cases. However, 16 patients have already recovered and discharged.
