Cricket Association Nepal to Host Marylebone Cricket Club Series

After the WCL T20 Tournament, Nepal has another important cricket series coming up to keep fans engaged between November 02-09, 2019.

The Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) is organizing the MCC Series, for which the Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC) will be traveling to Nepal.

The MCC will be playing various game formats against Nepal in the upcoming series at the Tribhuvan University International Cricket ground.

MCC will play their first match against Nepal U-19 team in a 50-over match on November 03, 2019 and the Nepal senior cricket team on November 04, 2019.

MCC will also play a first-class match against Nepal senior team between November 06-08, 2019.

On the last day of the series, MCC will play a 20-over format with Nepal senior and U19 teams. The new Nepal cricket team captain Gyanendra Malla will be leading the teams across all formats, while former captain Khadka will be seen only in the 50-over game.

  • Nov 3: MCC vs Nepal U-19, ODI Match
  • Nov 4: MCC vs Nepal senior team, ODI Match
  • Nov 6-8: MCC vs Nepal senior team, 3-day
  • Nov 9: MCC vs Nepal, T20 At Pokhara Stadium
  • Nov 11: MCC vs Pokhara XI, T20
  • Nov 12: MCC vs Chief Minister XI, T20

CAN announced the final Nepal squad for the series on October 30, 2019.

  • Aarif Sheikh, Amit Shrestha, Avinash Bohara, Binod Bhandari, Dipendra Singh Airee, Karan KC, Kushal Bhurtel, Lalit Narayan Rajbanshi, Nandan Yadav, Pawan Sarraf, Sandeep Jora, Sandeep Lamichhane and Sompal Kami.

Captain: Gyanendra Malla

Nepal 50-Over Squad

  • Aarif Sheikh, Basant Regmi, Bikram Sob, Binod Bhandari, Dipendra Singh Airee, Ishan Pandey, Karan KC, Lalit Narayan Rajbanshi, Paras Khadka, Rohit Kumar Paudel, Sandeep Lamichhane, Sharad Vesawkar and Sompal Kami.
