Creating some buzz in Nepal’s capital, the 9th Made in Pakistan Expo kicked-off on October 3, 2018, at the United World Trade Center, Tripureshwor.
The expo is being organized by the Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce & Industry and a collaboration of over 50 Pakistani businesspersons with the theme ‘Made in Pakistan SAARC Edition’.
Nepal-Pakistan Friendship Association President Himalaya Shamsher Rana launched the event, where he said that connectivity & trade among South Asian countries could foster lasting peace and prosperity in the region.
The week-long expo has started in time for Nepal’s biggest festival Dashain, which is fast approaching. Made in Pakistan features the best Pakistani products including furniture, textile products, handicrafts, and leather items.
Expressing his happiness over Nepal-Pakistan’s growing trade cooperation, Pakistani Ambassador to Nepal Mazhar Javed said, “Physical constraints should be overcome by the will of people and businesspersons with the goal of promoting overall relations between any two countries.”
The exhibition will continue to woo Nepalis until October 9, 2018.
