The Minister for Physical Infrastructure and Transport Bir Bahadur Balayar inaugurated the 12th edition of the NADA Auto Show in Kathmandu on Wednesday. The six-day automobile extravaganza, jointly organized by Nepal Automobile Dealers Association (NADA) and Global Exposition and Management Services Pvt Ltd, is expected to attract at least 50,000 visitors.
Leading automobile brands including Toyota, Honda, Nissan, Renault, Volkswagen, Scomadi, Skoda, Suzuki, Tata, Datsun, Fiat, Ford, Hyundai, Kia, Mahindra Ashok Leyland, Eicher, Escorts, Yamaha, Suzuki, TVS, UM, Vespa, Mahindra and Tata, are participating in the event.
Anjan Shrestha, President of Nepal Automobiles Dealers Association (NADA) said that, “NADA has a legacy of bringing forth new products each year during its annual exhibit. We never reveal beforehand what new product(s) are to be released in our events. What I can say, however, about the event is that the automobile sector has developed significantly over the years and products demonstrated in the event serve as proof.”
Addressing the gathering, Balayar said that the government is committed towards addressing all genuine demands of automobile dealers and ensuring the healthy growth of the sector.
Popular comedians Madan Krishna Shrestha and Hari Bansha Aacharya are the brand ambassadors for the NADA exhibition this year.
