Chandra Bahadur Dangi (November 30, 1939-September 3, 2015) of Kalimati, Salyan District is the world’s shortest man in the recorded history, measured 54.6 cm (1 ft. 9 1⁄2 inches). In 2012, he was confirmed as the shortest adult human ever recorded. Dangi grabbed the title from Gul Mohammed (1957–97), measured 57 cm (1 ft. 10 inches). He subsequently won two titles in Guinness World Records.
