]]>The 567 meters long single-span suspension bridge connects Kusma of Parbat with Baglung district.
According to Sagar Ram Nepal, Engineer of the Contract Management Branch of the Suspension Bridge Division Office, Kathmandu, the construction cost of the bridge was NPR 92.5 million.
Even though the bridge has not been inaugurated officially, people have started using the bridge.
The bridge is set to be registered in the Guinness Book of World Records as the longest pedestrian suspension bridge.
Currently, the 494 meters long Charles Kuonen Suspension Bridge in Switzerland holds the record of the longest pedestrian bridge in the world.
However, the Statistics Department is yet to verify the statistics of the bridge.

In the mobile internet category, the nation has surpassed India (128), Bangladesh (131) and Afghanistan (139) and while trailing behind Maldives (61), Sri Lanka (87) and Pakistan (118).

Nepal Telecom has installed 4G networks in more than 2,000 places in the last four months to provide better customer experience to the 4.79 million 4G users in the country.
Even though the Nepali Government has implemented 4G networks across all the 77 districts, the country has slipped down by 3 places from last year in mobile internet speed rankings.
Nepal was ranked in 124th position in mobile broadband in January 2019.
Meanwhile, Nepal has moved up by 4 places from October 2019 in fixed internet speed rankings.
The speed improvement is attributable to the aggressive expansion of optical fibre connections around the country by internet service providers.

Bahadur, a local school bus driver, became an instant hero after his friend Puskar Nepal posted his weird stunt on social media.
Nepal says that Bahadur is physically & mentally fit and that he discovered this rare feat at an early age.
The secret behind Bahadur’s surprising skill is the fact that he has just ‘one tooth’!
Bahadur’s Big Dreams
The Nepali bus driver claims that he is the only person in the world that can lick his own forehead.
With the impressive skill, Bahadur says, “I think I look great like this. I can cover my nose with my lips, lick my forehead and make the sound of bullet bike.”
‘If I got to act in a horror movie, I wouldn’t need makeup like other actors to scare people,” Bahadur said while expressing his desire to work for the ‘big screen’. He also has plans to do his nation proud by creating a Guinness World Record with his skill.
“I want to set a Guinness World Record for being able to cover my nose with my lip while licking my forehead,” he adds.
We wish Bahadur luck for his future aspirations and hope this star receives world recognition for his rare skill.
