Nepali junior badminton player Prince Dahal has secured 14th position in the junior world rankings released by Badminton World Federation (BWF) on January 7, 2019.
This is the highest rank any Nepali shuttler has achieved so far and before this Dahal was at 18th position.
He has been continuously playing in international tournaments and recently won the Dubai Junior International Series 2019 held in UAE.
Being a native of Khalanga in Darchula, the 16-year-old Dahal had stunned the-then Nepal No. 1 Ratnajit Tamang during the 8th National Games in Dang.
Christo Popov of France is at first position in the BWF junior world rankings.
