It is a bit of a mystery how Nepal, which shares most of its border with China, has remained relatively unscathed from the globally-spread coronavirus.
Nepal has reported only one coronavirus case and has indeed managed to escape the worst so far.
From the start, the Nepali government has been implementing stringent measures to prevent the deadly coronavirus spread to the country.
In the same line, the government has decided to construct a special 70-bed hospital at Chitwan Exhibition Centre within 72 hours in case of COVID-19 outbreak in the country.
The hospital will feature
A 15-member task force has been formed to take up the construction work with Mayor Renu Dahal as its Coordinator and Dr. Bhojraj Adhikari as Member Secretary.

Likewise, the government is also planning to use some hotels in Kathmandu as quarantine centers in case of coronavirus outbreak in the country.
So far, COVID-19 has infected 199,264 people and claimed 7,994 lives across 167 countries globally.
