Amid the growing coronavirus fears, Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has decided to address the nation.
On account of restrictions over mass gathering, Oli is coming live at 6 PM local time on Nepal Television and Radio Nepal.
The government has also directed the closure of theatres, cultural centers, among other public places to minimize the possibility of the virus outbreak, until April 30, 2020.
This was decided in a high-level committee meeting led by Deputy Prime Minister Ishwor Pokhrel on March 18, 2020.
