PM Oli is planning for a cabinet reshuffle, shortly, wherein six ministers will be sacked from the ruling party.
Oli informed Nepal Communist Party Co-Chair Pushpa Kamal Dahal of his decision for a cabinet reshuffle. During the party meeting held on October 14, 2019, PM Oli announced the names of eight ministers he plans to sack. However, Dahal asked the Prime Minister to reconsider his decision.
As a result, Oli decided to sack only six ministers and change the portfolios of two ministers. The names include Bina Magar, Chakrapani Khanal, Lalbabu Pandit, Matrika Yadav, Raghubir Mahaseth, Shakti Basnet, Thammaya Thapa Magar and Yuvaraj Khatiwada.
PM Oli will be traveling to Azerbaijan on October 24, 2019 to participate in the 18th Non-Aligned Movement Summit of World Heads of State and Government and plans to conduct the cabinet reshuffle before that.
