“Tashi’s Turbine” Documentary Screening and Q&A

SVA Theatre is presenting a free screening of documentaries on September 17, 2017 as part of the 2017 School of Visual Arts Alumni Film & Animation Festival.

Documentary feature Tashi’s Turbine (2015), a character driven film that shows the impact of one man’s dream for light, in an underdeveloped Nepali village, will be one of the main attractions of the evening. After the movie, a Q&A session moderated by Ana Montgomery Neutze will be conducted with the filmmakers Amitabh Joshi and Erik Spink.

Short documentaries Hali (2016) by Peter Hristoff and Skull + Bone (2017) by Victoria Rivera will precede the screening of Tashi’s Turbine.
