Grand Finale of Jazzmandu 2017

Nepal is currently celebrating the annual Surya Nepal Jazzmandu 2017 festival being held as part of the 15^th edition of the annual Kathmandu Jazz Festival.

The 7-day festival, being held from October 12-18, 2017, is witnessing a participation of various artists from across the world and will have its grand finale on October 18, 2017.

This annual festival, which began in 2002, is the mission of the Kathmandu Jazz Festival (popular as Jazzmandu) and is aimed at spreading the message of peace and compassion through music.

The Festival was founded by Chhedup Bomzan of The Jazz Upstairs Bar and Navin Chettri, drummer and vocalist of Cadenza. It has been successful in promoting jazz in Nepal and bringing in world-class musicians to Kathmandu.

The event that began on October 12, 2017 at Alliance Francaise, Jawalakhel is undergoing various sessions at various locations of Kathmandu and is set to have its grand finale on October 18, 2017 at Hotel Yak & Yeti, Durbar Marg.
