Aladdin Features in US Theaters Today!

Calling all the Aladdin fans! 90s kids will remember this one for long.

Once our favorite cartoon, now a movie on a big screen, the 2019 Aladdin movie will have an American touch to it.

The movie is directed by Guy Ritchie and is releasing in US theaters on May 24, 2019. Aladdin is a remake of the 1992 animated film with the same name. The story is taken from ‘The Book of One Thousand and One Nights’ also popularly known as ‘The Arabian Nights’.

The movie is produced by Walt Disney Pictures and casts our favorite actor Will Smith as ‘Genie’. Mena Massoud plays our hero Aladdin, while shehzadi (princess) Jasmine is played by Naomi Scott.

Although, the story remains the same, the film will bring out a certain freshness of characters. Let’s wait and see how audience will like this version of their favorite childhood show Aladdin.

The original Arabic version of the book Aladdin was created in the Islamic Golden Age between 8^th-14^th century.
