#NepalFightsCorona: Nepal Reports 27 COVID-19 Cases in 24 Hrs

So far, Nepal has reported 246 coronavirus positive cases and zero death cases. Meanwhile, 35 patients have returned home after recovery.

As of today, the global coronavirus infection cases have reached 4,442,919 while the death toll climbed to 298,327. Currently, there are 2,476,228 active COVID-19 cases with 2,430,297 mild cases and 45,931 critical cases. However, 1,668,364 patients were recovered.

COVID-19 in Nepal:

Nepal witnessed a sudden spike in coronavirus cases with over 130 people testing positive for the disease in just 4 days since May 10, 2020.

 

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, Nepal has reported 3 New COVID-19 cases today, taking the number of cases to 246.

The patients include-

  • 49-year-old man from Debchuli Municipality-12, Nawalparasi
  • 32-year-old man from Chandragiri Municipality, Kathmandu
  • 6-year-old girl from Kapilvastu

Earlier on May 13, 2020, the coronavirus cases have increased from 219 to 243 after 24 people tested positive cases in a single day.

Currently, 211 patients are undergoing treatment at various hospitals in the country while 35 have discharged after recovery.

Meanwhile, the Nepali Government has quarantined 38 health workers including doctors and nurses who were in contact with the 6-year-old girl who tested positive for COVID-19 today.
